Storyline

Astronaut Adam Cook crash lands on an Earth-like planet several light-years away. His ship is badly damaged and beyond repair. He manages to contact his home base but they have little encouragement for him. They don't have a replacement spacecraft to rescue him and the security situation is such that they may soon be at war. Cook readies himself to make a home on his new world when he discovers another inhabitant, a human-like female from another world. As they learn to communicate, he learns her name is Eve Norda and together set off to begin a new life. Written by garykmcd

Goofs

Cook talks to his home planet like they were on the same planet (i.e. no delay between the comments). He has stated that he is 4.3 light years away. If he sent a message it would take 4.3 years to get back to his planet and another 4.3 years to receive the response. No matter how advance Cook's technology is, it can't send a radio signal faster than the speed of light. See more »

From what we can gather, the enemy had it just as bad as we did. We wiped them out. They wiped us out. Just one last forlorn wish for you, Son. Whoever you'll meet there, however you'll meet them, I hope it can come without fear. I hope it can come without anger. I hope your new world will be different. I hope you'll find no words such as Hate. I hope there'll...

Nice twist for the ending, even if predictable
28 February 2018 | by talonjensenSee all my reviews

Twilight zone episodes are usually made or broken by the ending twist. I really like the ending twist to this episode in spite of the obvious problems such as linguistic changes.

It was very predictable to me, but then I've read a lot of scifi/fantasy so this isn't the first time I've come across this ending.

The acting was better than average, but not great. The props better than average for the time and budget. I did think the writing could have been better, but the main point was clearly made.
