Trivia

The title described the Mission San Antonio de Valero in San Antonio, Texas that was built in the 17th century to convert the native Americans to Christianity. By 1800 the mission had been abandoned and was used as a garrison before the Texas soldiers occupied the building prior to the historic battle in 1836 which resulted in the cry of "Remember the Alamo!" Forget The Alamo
29 November 2009 | by claudio_carvalhoSee all my reviews

Doug and Tony are transported to the Alamo in 1836, on the eve of the battle of Alamo. They unsuccessfully try to convince Colonel William Barret Travis to remove the wounded from the doomed fort, but the reluctant military believes that they want to undermine the morale of his troops and does not give credit to their words.

"The Alamo" is another shallow and forgettable episode of "The Time Tunnel". Doug and Tony are involved in the doomed and controversial battle of the Alamo, the beginning of the end of the Mexican state of Tejas, but there is seriousness in the plot. My vote is seven.
