Liquor racket
2 July 2015 | by searchanddestroy-1See all my reviews

A bar's owner refuses to bend over racketeers and is killed, because of a alcohol license, a business that supposes to monitor all the liquor industry, from making to retailing. An illegal business that, from the outside, seems to be faithful to the law. So, our lead investigator McNally goes on crusade. He received a letter of the deceased before this latest was killed. The guest stars are here Wally Mathau and David Brian. Mathau is so exquisite as usual and the scenes between him and McNally are worth the look. I had rarely seen this tremendous actor in evil characters. So this performance is very rare. I'll keep it in my mind for sure.
