Witness to be murdered
1 July 2015 | by searchanddestroy-1See all my reviews

Story of a gangster who, one day, decides to testify against his own organization. This, of course, makes him the man to be shot on sight. So the authorities help him to disappear, claiming all the world that he is dead. But the big boss of the organization - Brian Donlevy - doesn't believe one second that the lethal witness is actually dead. Paul Marino - Stephen McNally - tries his best to keep the former gangster alive against all his ex associates. The fugitive has a son who studies in a college and the teenager refuses to see his dad. You still have here interesting and convincing performances, with sub characters who are worth the look. Directed by John Peyser, as TV specialist director, who also gave us many UNTOUCHABLES épisodes.
