Teal'c, his son Rya'c and Master Bra'tac travel to the planet from which Anubis is attacking the Earth. Teal'c is concerned for his son's safety but the young man proves to be a fine warrior. When Teal'c and Master Bra'tac are taken prisoner, it's left to Rya'c to destroy the Goa'uld's special weapon. At Stargate Command, Dr. Rodney McKay thinks he knows how to stop the particle beam that is bombarding the gate and threatening the entire planet. Sam Carter doesn't think his solution will work but takes no comfort when it does in fact fail. Jonas Quinn however comes up with a solution - one that may cost someone their life if they are to succeed. Written by garykmcd
Anubis keeps the attack to the Stargate, while Sam seeks a means to save Earth. The arrogant Dr. Rodney McKay proposes a solution to General Hammond against the will of Sam that fails and reduces the time to find another solution to half. However Jonas Quinn proposes a simpler solution to Sam that may work. Meanwhile, Teal'c, his son Rya'c and Master Bra'tac travel to the planet where Anubis is attacking the Earth with a different weapon. They conclude they are using a stolen technology and plan how to bomb it. But when Teal'c and Bra'tac are captured by the Goa'uld, the only hope to destroy the weapon is the young and rookie Rya'c. What will happen to them?
"Redemption: Part 2" is a great conclusion of the first part. The series now introduces Jonas Quinn as the replacement of Daniel Jackson. Rya'c changes completely and becomes a warrior. The Russian Stargate is the substitute for the original Stargate. Dr. Rodney McKay seems to be trying to change his ego. Let's see what happens on the next episodes and how long will take to Anubis to recover from this attack. My vote is eight.
