Aboard the Delta Flyer in search of dilithium, B'Elanna Torres crashes on a pre-warp planet. She's found by a local, Kelis the Poet, who believes her 'an Eternal' (a superior being sent from Heaven). He writes "The Away Mission of B'Elanna Torres" a 'Voyager play' based off of her logs, which he performs with his meager acting troupe. Eight days after the crash, B'Elanna awakens, bound and injured. Kelis informs her she is his muse, but he needs more stories to put on or his 'patron' will let them starve. B'Elanna makes an offer: he will retrieve some 'winter's tears' (dilithium) in return for more stories about 'Shining Voyager, Far From Home.'

The masks the actors use are really made to look like their characters. For instance, you can make out Seven's cranial implant. See more
The entire plot is based on the fact that Kelis the Poet "saw a light burn across the sky, and heard a terrible sound", and thus found the Delta Flyer and B'Elanna. It is very unlikely that such a phenomena would be witnessed by only one individual. See more
