Factual errors

When Picard is talking with Jason on top of the rock wall, he tells him that he'll never look at his hairline the same way.It is a popular misconception that balding is a paternal trait when it is actually maternal.

Plot holes

Picard chooses to use a long-range subspace transport to get from the Enterprise to Daimon Bok's ship because, according to Riker and Data, 200 billion kilometers is twenty minutes away at maximum warp. "Federation" sources indicate that both that the Enterprise-D is capable of sustaining Warp 9.9 for twelve hours, and that W-9.9 represents a speed of 4 billion miles per second. At that rate, it would take 75 seconds, not 20 minutes, to reach Daimon Bok's ship.

The other Ferengi who are assisting Bok think he is planning to abduct Jason to get a ransom from Picard.

There is no money in the Federation, so Picard couldn't pay a ransom. Supposedly the Feringo know there is no money in the Federation.
