Fergus: I'm not going.
Conor: You're acting like a child, Fergus.
Fergus: No, I'm not. You can't make me go if I don't want to.
Conor: Would you listen to this? Fergus, I can't help it if the village that has volunteered to build the new meeting house for the Confederation of Tribes, at great cost to them and of vital importance to the movement, is the same village where your wife lives.
Fergus: She's not my wife.
Conor: Right, she's-she's not your wife. She's Molly's mother and she's your... whatever you call her.
Fergus: I don't call her anything.
Conor: Fine. Let's go.
Conor: Why not!
Fergus: I'm not going.
Molly: He's afraid of her. Always has been.
Fergus: I am not.
Molly: He left her. She hates him, and when he shows his face, she's going to pound it flat. Big warrior.
Fergus: I am not afraid.
Molly: You're afraid.
Dunn: Molly, my love.
Molly: Where's my mother?
Dunn: Give us a kiss.
Fergus: [shoving Dunn from Molly] Calm yourself, lad.
Dunn: Is this him?
Molly: My da.
Dunn: I can see you got your brains from your mother. He's probably good for heavy lifting, though.
Fergus: I'll be killing you now.
Dunn: [to Catlin] Anything you need, you just see me. Everyone knows, you need something, you just ask Dunn. Dunn... gets it done.
Queen Diana: Rome is sending an emissary to check up on me.
Queen Diana: Word has filtered back that you've usurped my power, that Conor's alliance is gaining strength. If the emissary doesn't return with a sterling report, they'll send a thousand soldiers in his wake.
Longinus: I'll bury them.
Queen Diana: A legion? Do that and the entire empire will come raining down upon you. No, Longinus, you're going to have to show this man what he wants to see - me, in control
Longinus: Who's being selfish now?
Queen Diana: And he's going to want to see Conor destroyed.
Longinus: You do love the game, don't you, Diana?
Longinus: May I ask what you're doing?
Queen Diana: I'm building a cage, Longinus, a trophy case. And guess who we're going to put in it.
Longinus: What an ambitious woman you are. How do you suppose you're going to get him in there?
Queen Diana: Well, I trapped you, didn't I? I think he'll look nice hanging in our entryway.
Longinus: My love, your plan has poetry and beauty... and not a chance of success.
Longinus: What news today?
Dunn: Conor is in love with Fergus' daughter.
Queen Diana: What?
Dunn: If you want the prince, the girl will be the key. Of course, we're gonna have to get rid of her father first.
[suspecting Dunn is trying to doublecross them, Conor and Fergus have a fight, resulting in the "death" of Fergus]
Caitlin: Who do you think prepared the body?
Fergus: I wondered who they were burnin'.
Caitlin: It's rags and leaves and some old meat. Took me all night.
Caitlin: It had to smell like you.
Fergus: Don't insult the dead.
Caitlin: Wait a minute. Wait. You pretended to love Molly, so that he would pretend to fight you, and you would pretend to kill him so that Dunn would tell Longinus?
Caitlin: Well, why didn't you tell me?
Conor: We're telling you now.
Molly: [to Conor] I liked it when you said you loved me.
Caitlin: You said she wasn't in on it. Why didn't you tell me? She was in on it the whole time.
Fergus: Well, we needed you to think that...
Caitlin: Oh, shut up!
Conor: Have we thought of everything?
Fergus: Well, we won't know until it's too late.
Conor: Well, if it doesn't work, I'm glad I've known you... and I'm sorry I killed you.
Fergus: What's a little murder between friends, huh?
Caitlin: I'm not talking to you.
Fergus: Look at it this way. If you die, she'll love you.
Longinus: [to Conor] I'm actually grateful to you. I haven't felt pleasure like this in centuries. I get such satisfaction from your pain. I think you're going to like your new home. You know, you're here courtesy of your beloved, but I have a surprise for her. She's not going to Rome. She's staying here. She's going to play with me and you get to watch.
Queen Diana: That is not what we agreed to.
Longinus: You should know me better than that, my love.
Queen Diana: We had a deal! When the emissary arrives, I am the queen, you are my adviser and he is *my* prisoner.
Longinus: Well, as your adviser, let me advise you to think of a new story, because I have captured the leader of the savages, I have control of the island and you can go to your room. Better think fast.
Molly: You're missing the fun. Agrona's made a feast. There's music. She's even dancing with Fergus.
Conor: I'll come later.
Molly: [discussing Longinus] He's down there for good.
Conor: Is he?
Molly: You can't watch the ocean forever.
Conor: I'll always wonder.
Molly: If you let him have a hold on you, he's won. A new world begins today. All possibilities; all hope. Anything can happen, Conor. Anything. Come.
[cut to a shot of Longinus locked in the cage at the botoom of the ocean]
