It seems to be the end of the line for the Jackman clan after their farm is put up for sale to pay back taxes. It's clear they weren't cut out for farming and go off to Paradise, a nearby town. They soon realize just what they've got themselves into when they see that all of the badges have bullet holes in them. When bank robbers come to town, Lucas helps them keep the peace. Where's Lucas and Mark
3 May 2017 | by JoeMcDonaldSee all my reviews

The other reviewers here have covered this episode pretty good but I would add that if this episode runs 22 minutes long, we only see Lucas and/or Mark for about 3 minutes. I'm watching and wondering where the main characters are?

Most series' start out on a certain theme and then for various reasons they slowly drift away from the subject that made them initially popular, causing viewer's interest to drift away as well. If this and other late 5th season episodes ran back in 1958, it would have flopped early and nobody would today would know of "The Rifleman".
