Storyline

Sam leaps into the body of Tommy York, a cadet at Prescott Naval College in 1964. Tommy is a superb athlete and will be the valedictorian at the upcoming graduation. Al tells Sam that Tommy's former roommate, ex-cadet Philip Ashcroft, will be found dead in two days time. Ashcroft was expelled from Prescott because he was a homosexual but Sam learns there is a small group of cadets, known as the Chain gang, who are praying on gay men in the community. As rumors spread that Tommy is also gay, Sam and Al race to ensure Philip survives. Written by garykmcd

Things have changed since these mild times. I think the episode of course has wonderful acting however the subject is something I don't share the same opion on. Quantum Leap is one of my favorite shows of all time and this is my least favorite episode.
