Tannis Montgomery and Dana Elcar
23 March 2014 | by kevinolzakSee all my reviews

"Trial of Partridge One" was one of the better serious episodes, as Laurie finds herself accused of stealing test papers from Mr. Felcher's math class. Since her friend Cindy Brown (Tannis Montgomery) gave her the envelope containing the incriminating documents, Laurie is convinced that she will do the right thing, noting that Cindy's reasoning is her fear of failure in her father's eyes, Mr. Brown (Noah Keen) being the principal of San Pueblo High. When the student body issues a summons for Laurie to appear in court to face charges of 'examination dishonesty,' protective big brother Keith graciously offers to be her defense counsel, convinced that she's covering for a friend, but unable to learn just who it is. As Mr. Felcher, Dana Elcar was one of the most recognizable faces on television for over 30 years. Pretty Tannis G. Montgomery, with only 15 credits on her resume, was lesser known than her older sister, Belinda J. Montgomery, and younger brother, Lee Harcourt Montgomery, both far more prolific on television, 150 credits between the two. The featured song is "It's You," composed by Johnny Cymbal and Peggy Klinger, from the forthcoming LP CROSSWORD PUZZLE.
