Goofs

A referee never starts counting out a fallen boxer at No. 1 in his count. The timekeeper actually starts the count while the referee is moving the other boxer to a neutral corner. The referee then returns to the fallen boxer and picks up the count that had already been started by the timekeeper. So when the ref started counting Laughlin out, he should have started with 2 or 3 (whatever number the timekeeper was at), rather than from the beginning. See more »
