Live Footage of Real Operation
7 November 2014 | by dougdoepkeSee all my reviews

Filmed aboard an actual naval hospital ship, the plot is rather slender. A badly injured sailor is flown in for treatment, whereupon the head doctor starts treating his staff in harsh fashion. Seems the sailor resembles his dead son, Plus, a photograph of sailor's wife resembles the doc's deceased wife. So the doc feels a personal stake in the young man's survival.

Almost all the entry's run-time surrounds the operating table, where viewers get abundant footage of a live operation, including a beating heart. Thus, viewers should come with a pretty strong stomach. But will the sailor survive and what will happen to the doc if he doesn't.
