Quotes

Nellie Oleson: Serves you right. I told you not to feed my horse.
Laura: She likes apples.
Nellie Oleson: I don't care what she likes! She's not your horse anymore. She's mine. And I told you to stay away from her! You only do it because you want her to like you more than she likes me.
Laura: So that's why you give Miss Beadle apples.

Evilness!
13 April 2013 | by mitchrmpSee all my reviews

If ever you want to watch an episode where Nellie and Harriet are evil, this is the episode to watch. I don't think there is another episode that shows just how nasty these two can be!

After Laura gives Bunny to Laura in Christmas of Season 1, this is the first episode that even mentions Bunny. But Nellie's treatment isn't very good and she whips the horse. When the horse spooks with Nellie on it, she's injured. She claims that she can't feel her legs.

But before long, we realize that's not true. Nellie keeps pretending just so she can get everything she needs. She is extra nice to Nellie so she can hurt Laura by making her do all her homework and by keeping her and Jason from being friends.

Harriet orders Bunny shot, but Laura hides Bunny at her house. When Harriet finds out, she is very, very upset. Then Laura finds out the truth.

Probably one of the most classic and vengeful scenes of the entire episode, Laura gives Nellie a shove down a hill. It's quite funny. I must give this episode a ten for the final scene...CLASSIC!
