Storyline

Lily cuts off Frank Judson at the Birdcage for being drunk. The next morning Hal Mead tells Troop that Judson knocked him out and stole $10,000. Troop starts his investigation by visiting Judson who is waking up from the previous night's drunk. With Troop watching him, he goes for a bottle of whiskey and finds a money bag from the heist. Troop is forced to arrest Judson who has no recollection of what happened but Troop believes the evidence is too good and suspects a frame-up. His son tries to get a job with Lily to help pay for an attorney. A gambler Jack Foley in the Birdcage raises a ruckus and suspicions when he wants credit to gamble and states he has more money in the Overland office. He actually helped Hal Mead to pull an inside job and blame Judson. Troop and Johnny tail Foley to the stable where they find him dead after Mead leaves the stable. Written by Anonymous
