Trivia

One of the major differences between the TV broadcast and the DVD release of this episode, occurs when Race, covered in berry juice, first pops up from the water to announce, "All right, you ignorant savages, get a good look at Aquezio, you heathen monkeys! Dr. Quest, I'll be back for you later! Take it easy! And you savages better lay off or I'll take your village apart stick by stick!" On the DVD release, the line is shortened to, "Get a good look at Aquezio! Dr. Quest, I'll be back for you later! Take it easy! And you savages better lay off or I'll take your village apart stick by stick!" Race's mouth moves to the lines, but no voice is heard. This was most likely done to be more politically correct in the new world era. See more »

Goofs

When Race emerges from the water as Aquezio, the DVD changes his dialogue, but his mouth movements, and the subtitles, reveal the original speech. Audio: "Get a good look at Aquezio!" Subtitles: "All right, you ignorant savages, get a look at Aquezio, you heathen monkeys!" See more »

Quotes

Dreena Hartman: Well, Emil had been working closer and closer to the jungle trying to talk to the Po-Hos. He could never get an answer.
Roger T. 'Race' Bannon: How'd he know they were there?
Dreena Hartman: They're always there. After he disappeared, the drums said a stranger had been captured.
Roger T. 'Race' Bannon: What do the drums say now?
Dreena Hartman: They know you are here.
