Season two saw the replacement of Wendy Schaal as Vicki with Louise Lasser as Maggie. Mario the chef (played by Bert Remsen) was replaced by Earl Boen as Dennis. These replacements would not last into syndicated season three in 1985 when Crystal Bernard (as Amy) and Richard Stahl (as Howard) would join the cast and remain until the end of the series.
