Storyline

David and Edgar intercept an alien en route to a regeneration station, and discover that he is a leader, a powerful figure in the alien hierarchy! But without regeneration he will not last the length of a trip to Washington. And, his people manage to surround David and trap him in a small cabin, the home of poet Cyrus Stone and his niece Claudia. Claudia resents that David has dragged her family into this, even after she sees an alien die the fiery death of his kind when on Earth. David tries to figure out how to get word to a nearby military base, while the aliens strive to recover their leader. Written by CommanderBalok

One Of The Very best
26 August 2016 | by StuOzSee all my reviews

Vincent captures an alien leader, played by Alfred Ryder.

Now we are cooking! One of Alfred Ryder's best roles ever, next to Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea: The Phantom Strikes this and season one's Vikor are in fact his best performances ever! Usually I go for The Invader episodes that are on the move with wonderful outdoor location filming and vintage Ford cars all over the place...The Ransom is another ballgame all together!

The appeal lies in an outstanding script read by outstanding actors, mainly Ryder.

We still have a few more episodes to go before the end, and some of the coming shows are really cool, but this could be the last knockout hour of The Invaders. Enjoy!
