David has been staying with a soldier. When the soldier wakes up one night and learns he's blind, he tells David that earlier he tagged along with a man who was disposing of things from the base and among them is a tank. He thinks the tank may have had a gas in it. David tries to recover it but someone takes it away from him. It seems like the tank contained a chemical weapon. When the base commander learns of this, feeling that this whole thing shouldn't jeopardize his career wants it keep quiet. That's why he sent the man to recover and dispose of it. David then goes to see the base doctor and tells him about it. Suddenly David goes blind. While the commander doesn't want to tell David anything, the doctor does like the fact that the formula he's working on is the antidote. But David who saw it before going blind thinks he knows what the answer is. But commander refuses to release him so the wife of the soldier tries to get David out. Written by

The Yellow Canister
20 November 2014 | by AaronCapenBannerSee all my reviews

David Banner(Bill Bixby) is staying with a young army officer on a chemical research post, and his family while holding down a local job. Things are fine until the officer hitches a lift with a transport truck and helps the driver dump a yellow canister that unfortunately leaks, later blinding them both. Asking David to retrieve the canister as evidence, since he gets no cooperation from his superiors, David to is exposed to the gas, and becomes blind while the military brass decides to cover it up, while coming up with a cure, though the Hulk emerges to expose the conspiracy and battle a tank... Interesting if contrived episode finally gives a military vs. the Hulk scenario out of the comics, though done realistically.
