Funny and Entertaining on a Dark Backdrop
25 April 2018 | by GunnersMateSee all my reviews

West Coast Story blends financial despair and the titular star-crossed lovers with a surprising amount of humor. Who knew that Hamish could smile so much? Perhaps it was because he spent more of the episode on the questionable side of the law than actually enforcing it? Whatever the reason, this was the best episode of the series to date with plenty to enjoy and moments of heart ache. Plenty of singing and West Side Story woven throughout as well as paralleled. Highly entertaining.
