Spare Parts But Not A Spare But Excellent Script

When I first saw the title, I thought this would be a mediocre plot. However, I was first surprise to see the beautiful Susan Oliver heading the cast and being reunited with her former "Peyton Place" costar Chris Connally. The story involves a widow, who is being terrorized by three patients that have inherited her dead husband's parts. Don Knight makes an excellent scary ghost as the dead husband. It is nice to see Meg Foster the first future "Cagney and Lacey" star looking young and attractive. The resemblance to Kirstie Alley then is amazing. Rick Lenz makes a nice attractive doctor, who replaces Susan Oliver's husband as the new doctor at the hospital. For t.v. trivia fans, Barbara Stuart as the older nurse was the one who played Sargent Carter's girlfriend Bunny on "Gomer Pyle." Is Susan Oliver an innocent victim? Unfortunately, the only way you can find out is to find a collector's copy because this rare excellent series is not available on d.v.d. Find, watch and enjoy.
