Trivia

This three-part episode was originally written as a script for a feature-length "Get Smart" movie for theatrical release, but Paramount decided against that in the wake of only fair box office returns for Munster, Go Home! (1966), Batman: The Movie (1966), and McHale's Navy Joins the Air Force (1965). See more »

Goofs

Actually a post-production error in editing, this being the middle of a 3 part episode, at the end "Chief" is shot by a young man in a wheel chair, yet in the recap at the start of the following episode, he is wounded by an older man with his shooting crutch. See more »
