Dr. Frasier Crane: All right. I screwed things up with Lana. But wait, that wasn't my fault. She was still in love with her ex-husband.
Lilith: No, Lana is not the problem.
Hester Rose Crane: No, she wasn't right for you at all.
Dr. Frasier Crane: Oh, mother, you would say that. You never approved of any of my relationships.

We Are Everyone We've Been
25 October 2019 | by HitchcocSee all my reviews

Frasier searches the depths of his soul to root out his failing to find that one person to love. So in come the characters we already know and a couple others. Diane and Lilith hold forth in his conscious, his mother appears, and his first wife. This is a truly intelligent script without being terribly preachy. Frasier has reached a point where he loves without introspection and then does some outrageous thing to screw things up. This was precipitated by his recent interactions with Claire and Lana.
