Expected worse
24 March 2015 | by stones78See all my reviews

Let me begin by saying that I expected this episode to be bland, and it was, slightly, but both stories were written quite well, with decent conclusions. The familiar faces include the late Meredith MacRae, Peter Mark Richman, "boring" Ken Berry, Steve Forrest, and Leigh Taylor-Young. Without getting into much detail about either story, I'll add a few touches here and there to keep you interested, I hope. I found Cindy's(MacRae)request to get married right away as too desperate, and she's not ugly at all, and I wonder why she planned to marry that fool, played by "boring" Berry. Did I mention that I find Ken Berry a bore? I just never find him or his antics funny, as in this story. The story had a decent ending though, I'll leave it at that. The other story has Jordan(Forrest)wishing to be a cat burglar, and steal something from a rich snob. The most interesting aspect for me was the neat safe cracking device he used to open safes, and I don't recall ever seeing a gadget like that since, and this story was from 1978, so credit to whoever came up with that idea. Finally, it wouldn't be a proper episode without disco dancing, and we get some here.
