The new Chico is revealed to be an orphan
4 July 2016 | by kevinolzakSee all my reviews

"Su Casa, Mi Casa?" finds The Man still trying to send the new Chico back to Mexico, but the kid is determined to stay with his 'Uncle Ed.' Ed writes a letter to the boy's father, while Raul starts his own antique business in the garage. Weeks pass with no word from Raul's parents, but a long distance call to Manuel Lopez in Mexico reveals the fact that his charge is an orphan- his mother died when he was born, his fisherman father drowning a year earlier. Raul explains how he chose not to tell 'Uncle Ed' the truth because he wanted no charity. Nothing is resolved by episode's end, and in just two weeks Gabriel Melgar has already worn out his welcome with everybody fussing over him.
