Only two characters in this entertaining little story that tells us the adventure of a man and a woman who, after a sea disaster, take refuge on a lifeboat. Oh, it's not the Alfrad Hitchcock's film with the same name nor Richard Sale's ABANDON SHIP. Actually we more think of ROBINSON CRUSOE or this kind of stuff. The way for two survivors to make it together against all odds. Instead of taking place in a suburb where an ordinary couple would argue about nothing and everything, it takes place on an island, in the middle of the Pacific ocean.
Jason Robards and Hope Lange are quite right in those characters, but they have already done better.
Directed by Harvey Hart, the man who gave us the tremendous SHOOT.
