You made the mistake of not judging a human being for what he is. Is he a decent person or the reverse? All you knew is he came from Blenheim Street and he had some kind of claim on you.
A claim he could work for his own advantage and did. Loyalty - you look at it hard and it's not so simple.

The usual cop murder case, with a young killer on the run, trying to make it against the raging police force after him. The usual scheme of the hoodlum asking help from his girl friend. The usual scheme of the flat feet investigating, making everything to put the cop killer under custody. In resume, nothing new here. But, as it will probably be for the rest of the series, it works, because of the perfect directing, acting, editing, whole atmosphere; thanks to the terrific photography and music score.
Fortunately, there were batches of this kind of TV shows, from the late fifties to the mid seventies. Lots of those urban crime series.
Directed by Herman Hoffman, a most TV stuff film maker.
