Storyline

Tristan is named the Ministry of Agriculture's sterility adviser for the north riding of the county. As such, he's responsible for promoting the use of artificial insemination to some very doubtful farmers. James acquires a new record player, but is reluctant to let anyone else use it. Rosie accompanies James on his rounds, but nearly has a serious accident. Calum takes up residence in Skeldale House. Tristan is assigned to examine a flock of sheep being exported to the Soviet Union so he and James head off to the docks in Hull. Written by garykmcd

Goofs

While Helen and Siegfried are drinking tea, he is going on about the two spoiled Terriers of the Whithorns on one side and Dobbs' Border Collie, whose behaviour, thanks to Dobbs' treatment of discipline and kindness, has vastly improved, it shows his watch telling that it is around 11:15, apparently a.m. since it is still broad daylight. In the next shot onto Helen she say though, that it is already past 5 p.m. and that she was worrying about James and Tristan who are gone to see some sheep in Hull. See more »
