When Stanley is talking to/yelling at Peter Menzies next to the tombstone, he begins by standing behind the tombstone with his right hand on it. Later he goes to one side of it and yells at Menzies. All of a sudden he is behind the tombstone again, right hand on top of it and is much calmer, definitely not the state he was in a moment before. See more »
Joe Mantell stars as businessman Stan Lockhart, who has been contacted that his estranged father is now terminally ill, and needs to see him at once. Stan then heads out to his father's home in Maine with his own doctor, but is surprised to learn that his father doesn't appear to be sick, but instead believes that it will be his death day because a local stonecutter named Menzies(played by Walter Burke) reputedly has the morbid knack for predicting the death dates for select citizens, and puts that date on their gravestones! Now a believer, Stan tries to stop the stonecutter any way he can with tragic results... Effective episode with good acting and memorable setting.
