Mathilda, a 12-year-old girl, is reluctantly taken in by Léon, a professional assassin, after her family is murdered. Léon and Mathilda form an unusual relationship, as she becomes his protégée and learns the assassin's trade.
Following the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy fights through grief and trauma to regain her faith, console her children, and define her husband's historic legacy.
This is a nice extra on the "Leon" DVD that shows Natalie Portman speaking of how she started her film career as a child actor. She's an incredible actress and it's interesting to know she starred in "Leon" with little acting experience, as she killed that role. She's inspirational and a beautiful person.
