Tim Burton resurrects Frankenweenie

Tim Burton has teamed with Disney to produce a feature-length stop-motion animation version of the black and white short film which originally severed the relationship between the young animator and the studio. “They claimed the film was too violent," recalled Burton. "The only violence in that is when the dog gets run over by a car, and that is done off-camera.” The times have changed and the director has been able to bring Frankenweenie back to life with the help of his former employer.
