Wolf Creek 6-Part Series to Make Us Premiere on the Pop Network this October

Following its debut on the Australian streaming service Stan this past May, the six-part Wolf Creek series—featuring John Jarratt once again playing the malevolent Mick Taylor—will make its Us premiere on the Pop network on October 14th.

Comprised of six one-hour episodes, the Wolf Creek series was directed by Tony Tilse and Greg McLean (director of Wolf Creek and Wolf Creek 2) from a script by Peter Gawler and Felicity Packard. The series pits a vengeful young woman named Eve (Lucy Fry) against infamous Outback killer Mick Taylor (Jarratt):

Ratings: Carmichael Rises, Extant Dips
NBC’s The Carmichael Show this Wednesday drew 4.8 million total viewers and a 1.3 rating, and then 4.0 mil and a 1.1, up 20 percent in the demo versus its premiere night double-pump.

Opening the Peacock’s night, America’s Got Talent (9.1 mil/1.7) ticked up. Come 10 pm, Last Comic Standing (4.2 mil/1.1) was flat.

CBS | Big Brother (6.5 mil/2.0) dipped a tenth week-to-week yet led still the night in the demo. The penultimate Extant (4.8 mil/0.7) was also down a tenth.

Ratings: Top Model Hits a 2-Year High, NBC's Carmichael Show Opens Well

NBC’s The Carmichael Show premiered on Wednesday to 4.8 million total viewers — the most watched summer comedy debut since June 2007 — and a 1.1 rating, within a tenth in the demo of time slot predecessor Mr. Robinson‘s best-since-2009 summer comedy premiere number.

A second Carmichael episode retained 4.1 mil/0.9.

Ratings: NBC, CBS Tie in Key Demo; ‘Home Free,’ ‘Celebrity Wife Swap’ Rise
CBS and NBC tied for first place in the key 18-49 demographic on Wednesday night, while Fox’s “Home Free” and ABC’s “Celebrity Wife Swap” enjoyed solid gains, according to preliminary numbers. Both CBS and NBC averaged a 1.2 rating/4 share in the demo, with NBC taking top honors outright in total viewers with an average 5.6 million, compared to second-place CBS, which had 5.2 million total viewers for the night. NBC’s Mr. Robinson this Wednesday averaged 4 million viewers and a 1.0 rating, down just a tick from last week’s double pump while holding steady in the demo from half-hour to half-hour.

The freshman series’ 9 o’clock outing delivered broadcast TV’s most watched, and tied the highest rated, Week 2 episode of a new summer comedy in eight years.

Ratings: NBC's Mr. Robinson Opens Well, Top Model Returns Steady

Leading out of the well-watched America’s Got Talent, NBC’s Mr. Robinson on Wednesday debuted to 4.6 million total viewers and a 1.2 demo rating, ranking as broadcast’s most watched summer comedy debut since 2007 (CBS’ Creature Comforts) and the No. 2-rated since 2009 (trailing only Undateable).

The series’ second half-hour however slipped to 3.8 mil and a 1.0. TVLine readers gave the comedy an average grade of “C-.”

Paul Daniels & Debbie McGee on CBB? Classic pictures in anticipation

Paul Daniels and Debbie McGee are rumoured to be entering the Celebrity Big Brother house next week, and we are more than excited at the prospect.

The 75-year-old magician and his 55-year-old wife and former assistant - who have been married for 26 years - are reportedly in last minute talks with Channel 5 producers to take part in the summer series on August 18.

Let us not forget that the couple are no strangers to reality TV - having previously appeared on ITV's The X Factor: Battle of the Stars, Channel 5's The Farm and Wife Swap on Channel 4.

Daniels also competed on BBC One's Strictly Come Dancing in 2010.

They could join fellow rumoured housemates including Helen Flanagan, Gary Busey, Stephanie Pratt and Lauren Goodger.
