Bassam `Sam' Al-Thawadi's Visitor comes after more than a decade of his Al-Hajez or The Barrier, and Bahrain's, first feature film. He looks more mature in the latest thanks to the prolonged experience with the video and film industry. The man had his finger in most pies he can reach and `Boy he learns so fast!'. And when the time came he was ready to blowup not just his DV film to 35mm format but he projected on the screen his whole generation's dream. His film comes simply as an answer to the question of whether to keep projects in the drawers or to go out and show the others how to make a movie out of nowhere!
