In the street market, you can clearly see behind Émilien in at least two shots a poster for Wasabi (2001), also written and produced by Luc Besson. See more »
In the wide shot, the train the Taxi passes by is not a TGV as stated (and seen a couple of shots afterwards), but a regional train. The locomotive is a dead give away, as the TGV's is very slender and stylish. See more »
To like this movie, you gotta watch it in French. Otherwise you do not get all the humor in the movie and sometimes, the funny things said in Frech are not, usually, funny in English or other languages and this is true. I watch french movies in French during some of my French classes and when I re-watch them in Russian or English i don't like it, because the humor is not the same. It is like watching a funny tvshow in Russian and getting every joke, because you know the Russian culture. The same with the French movies. I loved the movie. It is a good movie. It is not a movie that you would be applauding standing on the premier, but it is worth watching.
Most of the french movies are amazing, especially ones of Francis Veber and Luc Besson. I love every single movie of Luc Besson.
