Storyline

On his way to bustling Athens, Lisa--the fragile daughter of the stern former Brigadier General, Vrasidas Moralis--catches the eye of the countryman with a heart of gold and indefatigable paterfamilias, Thimios Boukouras. Before long, an unexpected friendship and an unforeseen alliance forms--and as one thing leads to another--Thimios finds himself cornered, having no other way but to defend the honour of the young damsel in distress. As a result, a reluctant Thimios will have to pose as Lisa's newlywed groom, the esteemed Dr Beliris, to get her off the hook after having a clandestine affair with the love of her life, Lakis Vranas; however, this is easier said than done. Now, Thimios has to explain the inexplicable. Will Lisa's secret boyfriend take this awkward situation lying down? Written by Nick Riganas
