Every summer, thousands of people descend upon a place tucked in the cornfields of the Midwest to witness the Ultimate Beauty Pageant. A probing and satirical, behind-the-scenes look at this bizarre event, the contestants who enter, the spectators who attend, the entrepreneur behind it, and the townspeople who tolerate it.Written by
If you are not a nudist, or do not at least have an open mind about nudism, then you will probably not like this movie. If so, then you will probably find it interesting. I sure wish it would come out in VHS or DVD. I don't think Dick Drost's Naked City is still in business, but it sure makes for some fond memories of those days. The whole thing seems to be built more around him than the resort or the contest. Here is one tip though. If you are just seeing it for the nudity, then you will probably be disappointed. As I said before, you have to be at your best open mindedness for this to make any kind of sense to you, as it is a documentary type of flick, not a porno! Enjoy.
