Trailer For a Galaxy Quest Documentary Called Never Surrender Explores The Film and How It Became a Fan Favorite

When Galaxy Quest was released in 1999, I rushed to the theater to see it and was blown away by how great of a film it was. It ended up being so much better than I thought it would be, but the movie completely bombed at the box office.

It wasn’t until after the movie was released for Home Entertainment that people started to discover the film and it started to grow its fan base. I can watch this movie over and over again and it never gets old. Now, nearly 20 years since it was released, the film has a huge fanbase! We have a trailer for an upcoming documentary called Never Surrender that dives into the film and explores the making of it and how it ended up being a fan favorite.

By all accounts, it was a movie that beat all odds: Surviving a set fire, the loss of a powerful director,

The cast and crew of Galaxy Quest look back at the film as its 20th anniversary approaches.

"Galaxy Quest is the best Star Trek movie," states former Next Generation star Wil Wheaton in the trailer for an upcoming documentary that celebrates the 1999 cult classic ahead of its 20th(!) anniversary. Is he wrong? It's at least debatable!

The first trailer for Never Surrender: A Galaxy Quest Documentary, which will get its first big screen preview in late November, arrives to tease a new retrospective that genuinely seems like a raw, honest and joyous celebration of the beloved Trek parody that managed to break down a wall between the format and its fans.

Stars Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver, Justin Long, Sam Rockwell, Tony Shalhoub, Missi Pyle, Rainn Wilson and Daryl Mitchell wax lyrical in the trailer, while director Dean Parisot and writer Robert Gordon, along with a host of

Sigourney Weaver's 10 Best Movies, According To Rotten Tomatoes

Sigourney Weaver has been dubbed “the Queen of Sci-Fi,” and she’s lived up to this title by not only starring in such classic of science fiction cinema as Avatar and the Alien franchise, but also playfully ribbing her own status as a sci-fi icon in comedies like Ghostbusters, Galaxy Quest, and Paul. She’s also an incredibly talented actor. How often does an actor get nominated for an Oscar for starring in a blockbuster sequel? It’s practically unheard of. But when Weaver starred in Aliens, she received a nod for Best Actress. So, here are Sigourney Weaver’s 10 Best Movies, According To Rotten Tomatoes.

New Bts Photo of William Sadler as Death in Bill & Ted Face The Music

Another behind the scenes photo has surfaced from the set of Bill & Ted Face The Music and it gives us a much better look at William Sadler back in the role of Death as he’s eating lunch.

I love that Sadler is back as Death. I have no idea how he’s going to play into the story, but I hope that he has a decent sized role in the film.

Underrated Movie of the Week: Galaxy Quest

Spoof movies are usually thought to be funny and worth a good laugh but Galaxy Quest wasn’t exactly a spoof movie no matter that the overall similarities to Star Trek would help it to be labeled as such. If you take a look at Gordon Jackson’s article in Gizmodo you might get a better idea from the facts he’s compiled just what the movie was really supposed to be like. In a way it was kind of an homage/mock-up of Star Trek but it created a different universe of its own and had its own characters thankfully, though you could

George Carlin's Daughter Kelly Has a Role in Bill & Ted Face The Music To Honor Rufus

Legendary comedian George Carlin played a big role in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure and Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey. He took on the role of Rufus, a dude who traveled back in time in order to make sure that Bill (Alex Winter) and Ted (Keanu Reeves) succeeded in changing the world through their music.

Well, George’s daughter, Kelly Carlin, has been cast in the upcoming sequel, Bill & Ted Face The Music as a way to honor her dad and the character Rufus. Creator and screenwriter told MovieWeb:

"There's also a character in the movie named Kelly, which is George's daughter's name, who has a very significant role in the journey, so George is a deep, deep part of it.”

There’s no word on who she will be playing in the film, but she could very well end up playing Rufus’s daughter. That would be cool if

Bill & Ted 3 Set Becomes a Daily Treasure Hunt with an Unrecognizable Keanu Reeves

Bill & Ted 3 Set Becomes a Daily Treasure Hunt with an Unrecognizable Keanu Reeves
Beloved action star Keanu Reeves is having a great year. With his John Wick franchise soaring over $500 million this summer, his scene-steeling role as Duke Caboom in Toy Story 4, and the upcoming re-release of the iconic Wachowski film The Matrix, he's come a long way since the "Sad Keanu" memes. In light of all the recent revivals, Reeves is stepping into his late 1980's and early 1990's shoes in Bill & Ted Face the Music. The third film in the cult franchise is currently filming, so the on-set anecdotes are starting to spill out.

Keanu Reeves is returning to the role of Ted "Theodore" Logan, but on-set photos have him looking much more like a WWE wrestler than a fun-loving, time traveling dude. With shaved sideburns, combed back hair and thick beard, the Speed star is nearly unrecognizable.

The tough look isn't exactly indicative of the plot, however, which writers

Heathers Soundtrack Is Getting Neon Green Vinyl Treatment This Summer

Heathers Soundtrack Is Getting Neon Green Vinyl Treatment This Summer
Back by popular demand for its 30th anniversary, the original soundtrack to Heathers from director Michael Lehmann with music by composer, David Newman, is being re-released on "very" neon green vinyl. The LP soundtrack will be available starting August 23rd, 2019.

A cult-classic in the truest sense of the term, (it grossed only 1 million at the box office), Heathers stars a 15-year-old Winona Ryder, who is currently enjoying a notable return of her own on the immensely popular Stranger Things series. Ryder's agent at the time famously begged on her knees for Ryder to pass on the role. The dark comedy which pits a powerful high school clique against a murderous sociopath also features Christian Slater in one of his first major roles and a pre-Beverly Hills 90210, Shannen Doherty.

Discovered by legions of fans on cable TV and video rental stores, the success of Heathers took a decidedly unexpected turn as

Snoopy in Space Apple TV Special Debuting This Fall

Matthew Byrd Jul 17, 2019

Snoopy goes where no dog has gone before in this upcoming Apple TV+ special.

Apple has announced a new Peanuts special which will see Snoopy take a trip into space.

The appropriately named Snoopy in Space will follow Snoopy (naturally), as he dreams of going to space. As it just so happens, Snoopy and Woodstock tag along on a field trip to Nasa (we'd like to go to this dog-friendly school) where the gang learns that Nasa is recruiting for a mission into space.

As you might imagine, Snoppy is chosen to participate in this mission. While that makes Snoopy the most unlikely candidate to go into space since Nasa decided that only Bruce Willis can save the world in Armageddon, he will have Charlie Brown and the gang helping him back at mission control.

The brief trailer we get for the short shows Snoopy dreaming that
