Aisha Tyler To Host 11th Annual Adcolor Awards

Adcolor, the premier organization celebrating and promoting professionals of color and diversity in the creative industries, will return to Los Angeles with their 11th Annual Adcolor Awards at The Loews Hotel Hollywood Hotel on Tuesday, September 19.

The event will be hosted by Aisha Tyler, honorees include All-Star Award recipient Jesse Williams (Actor & Activist), Advocate Award recipient Wilson Cruz (“13 Reasons Why” Star and Activist), Catalyst Award recipient Elaine Welteroth (Editor-in-Chief of Teen Vogue), presenters include Lena Waithe (Actress, "Master of None), Laz Alonso (Actor, “The Mysteries of Laura”), Janet Mock (Author, “Surpassing Certainty”), with Adcolor Founder & President Tiffany R. Massive Events, the company behind conventions such as Hallowhedon, Sherlocked and Chevron, have announced the Mighty Morphin Power Con, the first 3-day unofficial convention to celebrate all things Power Rangers

Held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel from Friday 20th – Sunday 22nd Feburary 2015, this unofficial convention aims to bring together fans of the Power Rangers franchise with guests from the TV series and films – including the already-announced Steve Cardenas (Rocky – Mmpr/Power Ranger Zeo), Johnny Yong Bosch (Adam – Mmpr), Nakia Burrise (Tanya – Mmpr), Paul L. “The King’s Speech” Wins Art Directors Guild Award

HollywoodNews.com: The Art Directors Guild (Adg) tonight announced winners of its 15th Annual Excellence in 2010 Production Design Awards in nine categories of film, television, commercials and music videos during black-tie ceremonies at the International Ballroom of the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills. The awards took place before an audience of more than 650 persons, including guild members, industry executives, studio heads and press. Adg Chairman Thomas A. Walsh presided over the awards ceremony with Paula Poundstone serving as host for the second consecutive year. Honorary awards were presented to Production Designer Patricia Norris for Lifetime Achievement and to Syd Dutton and Bill Taylor for Outstanding Contribution to Cinematic Imagery.

Full Comic-Con 2010 Schedule for Sunday July 25th

Here it is gang! The full schedule for the final day at Comic-Con, Sunday July 25th. There really isn't much happening on Sunday, it looks like it's gonna be a pretty relaxed day. There's a few panels we are going to catch, but I think we'll be playing catch-up on some articles. Sunday is traditionally known as Kids day, which features 27 Special Programs just for Kids. I've highlighted all of the events we hope to attend below. We are also planning a meet-up at Comic-Con with all of our readers. Details on the meet-up will be revealed soon.
