ReviewAn ardent Shah Rukh Khan fan writes a letter to David Letterman about the interview that failed to delve deeper into the Srk persona. Saraswati DatarNetflixDear Mr. Letterman, I had been excited for weeks now to watch your interview with Shah Rukh Khan, the first Indian celebrity on your rather exclusive Netflix original show, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction. When I met my future husband in 2009, I told him that my first love was Shah Rukh Khan. The man who first introduced me to love as a feeling and romance as a fine art. That’s perhaps the story with many women my age. Time has flown by and many good looking, talented actors have entered the playing field. But no one has ever made an impact like him. Let me first tell you that the interview was a fun one hour of content. You spoke to him in

Avinash Sachdev and Aditi Rawat enact the iconic Ddlj scene

After the iconic Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge hit the screens, Bollywood was never the same again. As Raj and Simran, Srk and Kajol brought fun and freshness, impishness and intensity to romance. The big moment for us? Raj playing his mandolin in the mustard fields even as Simran melts into his arms and they break into ?tujhe dekha toh ye jana sanam?. For a whole generation, Raj and Simran locked in embrace, and lost in their own world, spelt L.O.V.E.

Television taking inspiration and re-enacting the sequence is like an ode to this evergreen film. andTV?s Main Bhi Ardhangini will recreate the same magic for its viewers by bringing alive that cherished moment with a dream like sequence between Madhav (Avinash Sachdev) and Vaidehi (Aditi Rawat) where, Madhav stands with his arms stretched out holding a mandolin in one hand and Vaidehi running towards him gracefully dressed in white.
