C. Martin Croker,
Beavis and Butt-head's lives revolve around three simple things. (1) Barely attending school, which sucks. They do nothing, they learn squat, they know diddly, they hate the teachers - and, amazingly, they manage to avoid being thrown out. (2) Trying to score with chicks - something we know they'll never achieve. (3) Watching TV. Lots of TV. If something in the real world doesn't relate to what they know from TV, it sucks. They especially enjoy "reviewing" music videos - or just commenting inanely on them. If a video contains heavy rock, scantily-clad babes or anti-authority figures, it's cool - otherwise, it sucks.Written by

The show included the titular characters, wearing t-shirts that read AC/DC and Metallica, providing commentary on real-life music videos. The band Winger took offense to the biting comments made by the duo about one of their videos. Upon hearing this, a new character, Stewart, was created to be constantly bullied and ridiculed. Stewart's shirt reads "Winger." See more »

For the first few seasons the disclaimer was: Beavis and Butt-head are not real. They are stupid cartoon people completely made up by this Texas guy who we hardly even know. Beavis and Butt-head are dumb, crude, thoughtless, ugly, sexist, self-destructive fools. But for some reason, the little weinerheads make us laugh. See more »
In the episode "Good credit" the original version contains a shot of Beavis trying to burn Mr. Anderson's credit card; this has been edited out. See more »
You'd think that this show would be so stupid, and it is, but you get your laughs out of it. Sometimes, you need that immature side. And you have to just admit when something is funny. I would watch this show with my sister when we were younger, and I just wanted to be like her. It was the grundge era, *shudder*, so, I thought it was cool. And now I watch it on my own, and I still get my kicks. Beavis and Butt-head rocks.
