Storyline

Tony Costas, a brash, obnoxious, sexist and racist Detroit cop who has long since stopped following the rules, gets told that he will have to work with Inspector Fuji, a straightlaced policeman from Japan. Fuji is in Detroit searching for a Japanese engineer who has gone to America with plans for a top secret car part. The pair naturally fail to get along at first, but as the investigation continues, they almost begin to come close to tolerating each other's presence. I Thought It was a great movie.
7 June 2003 | by Sean_KatakuriSee all my reviews

This movie had faded as one of those 1980's action comedy films. I saw it many years ago and I thought it was great. For awhile I was looking for it but no luck. It was one HBO but I always missed it. One day I caught the whole thing. As time went on Movies like Rush Hour come and still it doesn't remind people of Collision Course. Collision Course is The Rush Hour of the past we would never forget. This is a movie I will never forget. I am an 80's man, so, that's another reason why I like this Film. The comedy between the two cops (Leno and Morita) are great and make a much better team than those other cops (Tucker and Chan). The Characters seem more alive and active. Rush Hour is mostly talk. I great film for all family members.8 out of 10.
