A group of assorted Americans survive a plane crash in a Caribbean island, and discover it is infested with crawling snakes and other venomous beasts. Even worse, terrorists are preparing a full out war on America with a biological weapon.
Taking place after the events of part two, where Roger Smith's twin sons Adlai and Dick are born; one of them is suddenly kidnapped and taught to be evil while Adlai is determined to foil the fiendish plot and save Tromaville.
This is the story of Melvin, the Tromaville Health Club mop boy, who inadvertently and naively trusts the hedonistic, contemptuous and vain health club members, to the point of accidentally ending up in a vat of toxic waste. The devastating results then have a transmogrification effect, his alter ego is released, and the Toxic Avenger is born, to deadly and comical results. The local mop boy is now the local Superhero, the saviour of corruption, thuggish bullies and indifference. Troma classic with good make-up effects and stunts, a pleasant surprise indeed.Written by
The movie was chosen for the notorious german "SchleFaZ" series. It was aired September 2019 on german TV station Tele5. ("SchleFaZ" is a german abbreviation, means "the worst films ever". In that series 2 hosts present the whole film and make fun of it throughout the movie.) See more »

[about Melvin, who is clumsily mopping]
Would you take a look at that fucking guy? The mop boy. Can't even mop right!
He's SO stupid!
He's always got that shit-eatin' grin on his face. What's he so happy about?
I HATE that mop boy.
[as Melvin approaches]

Ew! Pee-you! What's that stink?
G-Gee, t-that's funny, I don't smell nothin'.

Rated R for Strong Violence/Gore,Sexuality,Nudity and Language.
The Toxic Avenger is one of those "so bad its good" Troma made films. This is the only Troma film I have seen fully though I saw a bit of Class Of Nukem High.I saw this a while back on the channel Drive In Classics. The Toxic Avenger is a great movie.Yes it is cheaply made but it has a great mix of gore and comedy. The movie is about a geek who one day falls into a batch of toxic waste. He then becomes this deformed "superhero".He basically then fights crime while befriending a blind girl. The Toxic Avenger spawned three sequels, none of which I have seen. The Toxic Avenger is a great movie and if you like those entertaining "so bad its good" films, then I recommend it.
