Storyline

Mister Ed is a horse who is owned by Wilbur Post. Mister Ed is not just any horse, he talks to Wilbur. But this gets Wilbur in all kinds of trouble because Mister Ed won't talk to anyone else, so Carol, Wilbur's wife, thinks that Wilbur loves Mister Ed more then he loves her, because he spends so much time with Mister Ed. Mister Ed also talks on the telephone and goes out of his barn to cause mischief, for which Wilbur gets blamed. Written by Katie <Katie185@aol.com>

Trivia

In an interview with Alan Young (I), he said he had dark blonde hair in real life. On black-and-white film, his hair color blended into the color of Mr. Ed too much. The make-up artist had Connie Hines (I)' hairdresser dye his hair dark so he would stand out. After the show ended, Young let his hair go back to its natural color. See more »

Loved it!
16 September 2002 | by Slopmaster4001See all my reviews

Being only 23 years old, Mister Ed was obviously was before my time. I however at an early age caught this LOL show on cable. I have to be honest the only two episodes that really stand out for me is the one with Mister Ed's kite and Clint Eastwood. Also being a huge fan of DVD I would like to see this series released on DVD someday soon because its just to classic to let it fade into TV history.
