Did You Know?
The planes in the Dolittle raid are shown with machine guns. In order to save weight to allow for extra fuel the raiders actually removed the machine guns. So that they would not be thought to be unarmed in the event of a possible attack, the guns were replaced with broomsticks painted black. See more
