Some People are Just Soooooo Dumb
30 August 2019 | by arfdawg-1See all my reviews

There's one clown who gave this a bad review and said it seems like a silent picture. Well guess what numb nuts? It was made in 1929. Basically the dawn of sound.

Further, the available prints of this movie -- made on fragile nitrate originally, have deteriorated over the years making for a bad visual and some crappy sound.

It's not the movie's fault.

Two really great actors are in this flick -- Huston and Cooper -- and considering it's almost 100 years old, it's pretty damned good. Oh, and BTW a couple of old time chatacter acteors show up too.
