A Jewel Production. Lacking its own theater network, Universal devised a 3-tiered branding system for its product: Red Feather (low budget programmers), Bluebird (mainstream releases) and Jewel (prestige pictures produced to potentially command higher roadshow ticket prices). This branding system would end in late 1929.
