Not very funny nor very romantic
14 June 2001 | by psteierSee all my reviews

The rich young lady Madeleine and the broke Lussan have a fake marriage to spite the people they really want to marry.

Best are the women's costumes and Madeleine's Hollywood Deco apartment (wait till you see the bathroom). Alice White as the gold digger cabaret dancer that Lussan wants to marry is really good. Some of the titles are funny. Otherwise a disappointment. Marie Dressler only has a bit part.
