‘Horse Girl’ Trailer: Nothing Makes Sense For Alison Brie In Surreal New Dark Comedic Sundance Thriller

Writer/director Jeff Baena is probably best known for two major projects. 1. Co-writing the wacky and existential “I Heart Huckabees” with David O. Russell and his Sundance debut, the amusing zom com “Life After Beth,” with Aubrey Plaza. Baena then followed it up with the medieval black comedy film “Little Hours.” His latest, ” Horse Girl,” which sounds a little bit more out there, is a darkly humorous psychological thriller which he wrote alongside actress Alison Brie (“Glow“) who also co-starred in “Little Hours.” Clearly, these two click and have created a working rhythm together they enjoy.
