Beau Bridges Gets Walk of Fame Star

Actor Beau Bridges praised his family after his name was cemented on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Several members of the Bridges family made the trip to Hollywood Boulevard for the unveiling on Monday, including his mother Dorothy and younger brother Jeff Bridges, who also has a star on the exclusive pavement. The actor-director-producer, 61, entered the movie business as a child actor, appearing in the 1949 flick The Red Pony, and currently portrays CIA director Tom Gage in CBS series The Agency. He says, "Thanks to my family and friends and for those who I don't know, thanks for coming to be a part of this magnificent tradition. This is very important to me."
