Trailer for John Cena and Keegan-Michael Key's Firefighter Comedy Playing With Fire

Paramount Pictures has released the first trailer for John Cena and Keegan-Michael Key’s upcoming firefighter family comedy Playing With Fire. This movie has certainly been made for the kids. This flick doesn’t interest me at all; it’s one of those movies that are made to fill a studio’s quota.

The movie also stars John Leguizamo (When They See Us), Brianna Hildebrand (Deadpool), Dennis Haysbert (The Unit), and Judy Greer (Jurassic Word). Here’s the synopsis that was released:

When straight-laced fire superintendent Jake Carson (Cena) and his elite team of expert firefighters come to the rescue of three siblings in the path of an encroaching wildfire, they quickly realize that no amount of training could prepare them for their most challenging job yet – babysitters. Unable to locate the children’s parents, the firefighters have their lives, jobs and even their fire depot turned upside down and

The first trailer for Playing with Fire has arrived and it is full of firefighting babysitting action. John Cena leads the cast through some hijinks and it looks like the family comedy could be a hit at the box office when it hits theaters. Cena seems to be following a similar career trajectory as fellow former pro wrestler Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson by doing big action movies and then slowing down for some family comedy to show the softer side of things.

Nothing can prepare these elite firefighters for their most challenging job yet: babysitting. Check out the new trailer for Playing With Fire, starring John Cena, and don't miss it in theaters this November.

David Leitch hasn’t heard from Disney about Deadpool 3

David Leitch, the director of Deadpool 2, reveals that Disney hasn’t yet contacted him about Deadpool 3.

One of the most fascinating things about the Disney takeover of 20th Century Fox is how they will handle their newly acquired R-rated properties like Deadpool.

Deadpool is one of the most beloved superhero franchises out there but with David Leitch’s recent comments, it seems like Disney haven’t yet spoken to him about making a third movie. Talking to ComicBook.com, the director said:

“In everybody’s world, everybody wants to make it. So, if I was ever approached to make Deadpool 3, my answer would be, ‘Hell yes,’ but I think there’s a lot of things going on in the shake up with Fox and Disney and where that whole Marvel world after Endgame is gonna be. When the dust settles, let’s hope that Deadpool lives. That’s kind of ironic,

John Cena is a Stern Firefighter in First Trailer for 'Playing with Fire'

"No shenanigans under my watch!" Paramount has debuted an official trailer for Playing with Fire, a new comedy from the director of such classics as She's the Man, Race to Witch Mountain, You Again, and Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2. John Cena stars in this as a "stern, no-nonsense firefighter captain" who, along with his elite team of "smoke jumpers" firemen, becomes the temporary guardians of three rambunctious kids - Brynn played by Brianna Hildebrand (Negasonic Teenage Warhead from Deadpool), Will played by Christian Convery, and Zoey played by Finley Rose Slater. Sounds like a fun one, right? Get ready for some awkward laughs. The cast includes Keegan-Michael Key, John Leguizamo, Tyler Mane, and Judy Greer. This is one of those high concept, fun-for-everyone studio comedies that you'll either love or hate. Honestly, the big dog is probably going to be the best part about it - which isn't a bad thing.
